The Jr. Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. This role will bring expertise in both traditional on-premises and cloud-based environments.

Work Schedule: This position currently follows a hybrid work model. Employees are required to work from the office at least four days per week (Monday - Thursday), with Friday available for remote work, offering a blend of in-person collaboration and flexibility.

• Server Administration: Administer Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Virtualization and Cloud Computing: Manage virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies. Deploy and manage cloud services on platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Security Implementation: Implement and maintain security measures, to protect the organization's data and systems from threats based on direction from the Security Team.
• Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization. Implement performance tuning strategies to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance overall technical expertise.
• Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and vendors to support IT initiatives and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of general IT helpdesk or technical support experience, with exposure to systems administration, networking, and cloud technologies
• Azure and/or AWS based cloud support and migration skills and experience.
• Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, security, data, and applications).
• Knowledge of additional cloud technologies (Azure, S3, VMware).
• 2+ years' experience in a technical role.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Experience in enterprise applications, solutions, and data center infrastructures.
• Ability to work with team members from around the globe / experience working with offshore models. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
• Relevant Industry certifications such on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
