Position Summary

The ERP Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day processing of the ERP system applications. Uses working and technical knowledge of ERP systems and databases to evaluate issues and provide effective solutions. The ERP Systems Administrator will work closely with the ERP Team, Accounting, and Operations personnel to gather requirements, prioritize new work, and promote the accuracy and consistency of data concerning the financial, operations, and inventory systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Consult with business users to identify wants, needs, and/or issues, and help deliver technology solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Translate business design documents into high quality technical/functional specifications that can be used to develop ERP configurations or customizations.
  • Design and implement fixes, enhancements, and modifications within the ERP System as directed by management.
  • Define business and/or functional requirements and identify the best approach to implement within the organization’s architecture.
  • Provide support such as troubleshooting malfunctions of program bugs, hardware and software applications, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
  • Maintain working knowledge of AIF and best practices for system interactions to 3rd party systems.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver end-user training on any new or added functionality in the system along with normal system operation training.
  • Documentation:  Documenting the current state of the ERP environment and maintaining the documentation to ensure that is kep up-to-date.

Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • 6 years of Dynamics AX project experience.
  • Experience with collection and documentation of requirements for ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP design and project planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical bachelor’s degree or related field of study.
  • Domain specific knowledge of Accounting and Finance functions in ERP.
  • Experience with multiple ERP implementations.
