  • Position Summary

    Isagenix is seeking a passionate, creative and driven undergraduate or graduate student who wishes to further his/her interests in public relations, communications or community relations and is willing to be immersed in a fast-paced work environment.


    This Isagenix intern will have the unique opportunity to be exposed to nearly every facet of the corporate affairs department activities at Isagenix.


    Corporate Affairs encompasses Public Relations, Internal Communications, Government Relations, and Community Relations.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Assists with community relations including but not limited to donations coordination, inquiry responses, and social media posts.
    • Assists with some administrative duties including preparing gift bags for media and business/community partners
    • Supports updating PR and crisis management toolkit
    • Supports development of press releases including, writing and distributing once approved
    • Assists with media relations, including researching and pitching relevant topics
    • Builds and maintains media lists
    • Develops content and posts for internal social media and weekly e-newsletter
    • Proofs written materials for style, grammar, etc.
    • Monitors, clips and tracks media coverage
    • Updates company profiles i.e., BBB, Wikipedia, etc.
    • Researches and applies for company award submissions
    • Researches legislation affecting the company or the industry
    • Researches and updates information regarding elected officials and other influencers
    • Participates and contributes in staff meetings and creative brainstorms
    • Assists with weekly internal media report, News Flash
    • Adheres to deadlines with consistent verbal and written follow up
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Undergraduate or graduate student; junior standing required
    • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
    • Knowledge of public relations; prior experience in PR/marketing a plus
