  • Position Summary

    As part of a high functioning team and agile development process the DevOps Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of continuous integration pipelines that build and deploy to development, testing, and production environments. Configure various tools for continuous integration and deployment in support of Isagenix’s expanding automation framework to build and update the infrastructure. Work closely with cross functional teams and IT members to understand requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with company strategies and architectural standards.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Automate tasks for build, deploy, and test pipelines.
    • Evaluate current processes and uncover opportunities for improvement to assure all systems are in line with long-term strategy.
    • Set up Continuous Integration Builds and Deployments to cloud environments.
    • Provide support for deployments; verify the functionality and ensure expectations are met.
    • Configuration management.
    • Collaborate with Development, Test Automation, QA, and IT Operation Teams to coordinate and align activities to deadline and goals.
    • Assist in Monitoring, Management, and Oversight of ALM, Release Management, and APM solutions to ensure the IT architecture is operating at peak efficiency and work with other IT teams to assess/triage areas/issues to be addressed.
    • Develop estimates and operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines.
    • Write and communicate requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of solutions. Maintain documentation of system tailoring that is deployed.
    • Work alongside engineers to participate in the architecture and lead the implementation of the cloud-based aspects. Provide training, knowledge transfer and support, as needed.
    • Provide recommendations related to ongoing operational support of environments at all phases of the process.
    • Define DevOps and quality guidelines and standards. Establish requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance.
    • Monitor processes, review performance metrics; pinpoint bottlenecks, and develop optimal solutions.
    • Work with world-class enterprise platforms which require high availability and scalability.

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
    • 5 years of experience supporting DevOps and software development operations.
    • Broad understanding of tools and technologies, software and infrastructure security, infrastructure automation tools and testing.
    • Experience supporting cloud deployments.
    • Strong working knowledge of networking technologies and build scripting languages within PowerShell.
    • Experience working with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment technologies, including JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, TFS/VSTS/Microsoft Release Management.
    • Experience with large-scale .NET or Java based platforms.
    • Experience working with digital commerce platforms across all tiers.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to collaborate, be flexible, and have a customer- first mindset.
    • On-call and occasional hours outside normal business according to business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
    • 8 years of experience supporting DevOps and software development operations.
    • Experience working and supporting agile development teams.
    • Experience with Agile processes and methodologies.
    • Experience with MuleSoft or SAP Hybris.
    • Experience with Automation platforms used to provision, scale, and monitor workloads in AWS or Azure.
    • Experience with tools such as NewRelic, Dynatrace, or App Dynamics.
