  • Position Summary

    The position is responsible for managing all facets of regulatory support to market Isagenix products in the APAC. This includes developing regulatory submissions, creating and reviewing labeling, providing guidance and consultation for international regulations, and interacting with governmental agencies. Full understanding of the products and their use as well as the regulations and their claims is required.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Develop strategies and implement procedures for product import submissions and registrations in accordance with current market regulations and guidelines.
    • Prepare the preparation of registrations for new or amended products.
    • Keep management informed of regulatory requirements and emerging issues which may affect the registration approval of products; provide regulatory input, advice and guidance to the organization.
    • Responsible for oversight and prioritization tasks and projects.
    • Serve as subject matter expert in APAC market through interpretation of regulations and provide guidance in the development of products.
    • Build relationships with cross-functional staff across various business units, partners, contractors, lawyers and government entities to support effective product registration.
    • Partner with R&D and other business teams to identify export processing and workflow opportunities.
    • Stay abreast of international regulatory developments and identify opportunities and/or implications to the business.
    • Resolve any complex regulatory issues or problems.

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
    • 1-2 years of experience in the regulatory affairs field.
    • Background in the food and/or nutrition industries.
    • Fluency with a language other than English.
    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in food science, chemistry, biology or related technical field.
    • 3+ years of experience in the regulatory affairs field.
    • Bilingual in Mandarin, Chinese, or other APAC language.
