  • Position Summary

    This role will perform a variety of tasks related to collecting, analyzing, interpreting of data and supporting IT functions as required. The Data Analytics Intern will play a key role in advanced data analytics, business intelligence, data integration and master data management efforts and will be involved with traditional application development projects where necessary.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Serve as a member of the Data Systems & Analytics team performing analysis, design, implementation, and support for Isagenix’s reporting and analytics solutions.
    • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain a working knowledge of Isagenix data structures.
    • Help lead data-modeling efforts around reporting and analytics solutions.
    • Utilize tools to query Isagenix data structures such as MS SQL, MS Power BI, and other types of analysis tools.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of data relationships amongst Isagenix systems and data sets.
    • Understand Isagenix business units, processes, process interactions and how data is influenced by business units and processes.
    • Support the data to information to intelligence transformation process when using data for the purpose of analysis.
    • Gather, analyze, and normalize relevant information related to and from business processes, functions, and operations.
    • Evaluate data creditability and determine relevance and meaning.
    • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
    • Work with internal teams to identify business requirements and objectives and conduct data profiling and predicative analysis.
    • Use different visualization techniques and present results of data exploration exercises.
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and prepare analytical reports to support business decisions.
    • Establish and utilize best methods, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining in creating analytical reports.

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree at an accredited university in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Apply critical thinking for the purpose of analysis.
    • Possess an expert understanding of statistical theory and associated best practices.
    • Solid quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
