  • Position Summary

    Product Development formulates various products (meal replacements & dietary supplements) in-house for the Isagenix team. This role works closely with Product Development Developers & Document Control teams for ingredient management and laboratory maintenance to preserve certain standards of quality and compliance.  The Intern will be expected to assist with raw material documentation and procurement of lab sample ingredients and laboratory supplies.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Review Certificates of Analysis (CofA’s) from Vendors and store them appropriately.
    • Log-in Raw Material samples (RM’s) and ensure proper documentation (CofA) is provided.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure lab cleanliness for Product Development labs.
    • Assist in cataloguing Raw Materials (RM’s) in accordance with laboratory classification system.
    • Help with recording quantities of RM’s into Sharepoint system to maintain inventory status.
    • Follow and assist in the maintenance of laboratory SOPs, validation protocols and reports as required.
    • Conduct testing, scoop studies, RM evaluations, sample preparations, and taste evaluations, etc.
    • Help with data collections, sensory, and statistical evaluations as needed.
    • Maintain instrument and laboratory duties log, elevate any issues or findings to the appropriate channels.

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree at an accredited university in Chemistry, Biology, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced office and laboratory setting.
    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks.
