  • Position Summary

    Our Enterprise PMO is led by a VP and four Program Directors. This Project/Program Manager is expected to lead efforts from single projects to complex programs consisting of teams from multiple business areas while demonstrating best practice use of project management methodologies and deliverables. Working closely with key stakeholders, sponsors and business owners, this role will plan, manage, report, memorialize and deliver assigned projects or programs while ensuring project/program objectives are achieved, gaps are effectively managed, and business value is realized. Experience within the operations and/or supply chain teams of a consumer products organization is a must, as is involvement with an ERP system implementation.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Apply project management best practices, demonstrating effective use of project management deliverables to plan, schedule, manage and report status for all assigned programs.
    • Develop collaborative communication plans indicating how and when all key stakeholders will be engaged, prepared, consulted and informed over the course of all programs.
    • Develop and manage project documents including project charters, RAID-C, RACI, schedules and status reports independently or collaboratively as needed.
    • Facilitate team collaboration to create, plan, share and communicate program knowledge deliverables including business cases, requirements documents, process flows, workflows and procedures.
    • Capture, record, report and escalate program risks, issues, and changes to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely fashion.
    • Build strong collegial working relationships will program stakeholders, inciting a strong sense of value and quality in PMO Program Management services.
    • Drive timely delivery of agreed-upon, in-scope program deliverables within schedule and budget while actively managing stakeholder expectations throughout program duration.
    • Lead and direct program team members to execute program work with confidence and integrity. 

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent related work experience.
    • 4+ years of project management experience with a track record of successful project delivery.
    • 2+ years of experience managing projects using mixed methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
    • Project management related to an ERP implementation (preferably Dynamics AX).
    • Experience within the supply chain or operations team of an organization.
    • Excellent listening skills with a sincere, collaborative approach.
    • Concise and effective communicator, verbally and in writing.
    • Detail oriented with strategic, “big picture” vision.
    • Strong proficiency in producing complex project plans and key project documents, including communication plans, schedules and status reports.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
    • Genuine attitude of service with a strong desire to produce quality work.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
    • 4+ years software implementation experience with Tier-1 applications.
    • 4+ years consulting experience with a Big 5 firm.
    • 2+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional programs and systems projects for a consumer products company.
    • Related certifications, such as PMP or CSM Certification.
    • Skilled in the use of SharePoint and Office 365 applications.
    • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
