  • Position Summary

    The primary scope involves the logistic, destination management and operations functions of all Isagenix events. Creating exceptional world class events that bring together the core of the industry, both onsite at the events and our digital platforms. The Director of Event will provide direction in the creation and execution of event experiences that meet expectations and promote the Isagenix culture and brand. This position will provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to all event staff and develop a top performing team. Operating within a global organization the role requires a strategic, commercial and creative leader, designing, project managing and delivering quality events. A truly innovative and commercial focused role that fosters positive and collaborative relationships across the business.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Manage Event Operations, Logistics and Destination Management Functions
    • Indirectly work with Events Training and Communication Departments
    • Develop and execute comprehensive departmental plans and programs, both short and long term, to support corporate strategy for event operations.
    • Monitor and analyze event trends and competitors to capitalize on opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity.
    • Responsible for timely, accurate budgeting and forecasting of a multi-million dollar budget and event costs.
    • Create event calendar 2-3 years in advance and craft a unique experience for each event.
    • Responsible for onsite event execution and delivery ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
    • Evaluate research and adjust departmental processes, procedures or plans to meet changing competitive conditions.
    • Determine agencies and suppliers of records, and negotiate contract terms and conditions for major services for both domestic and international events.
    • Serve as a liaison, with major outside agencies, for domestic events.
    • Provide creative and innovative solutions to space, branding and networking; research other industries and events to identify new technologies and products for the events.
    • Analyze event operations and provide recommendations to leadership for improving efficiencies.
    • Communicate the detailed delivery plan with clear accountability pre event and onsite for all stakeholders within the business, to ensure exceptional delivery onsite.  
    • Responsible for preparation of department activity reports and presentation to management.
    • Develop best practices, benchmarking, implementations and training to assist in challenging and developing staff.

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
    • 10 years of related global event operations and management experience.
    • 5 years of experience in a leadership role developing, training and coaching a large team across multiple functions.
    • Proven experience in strategic abilities to plan for current and future departmental and organizational enhancements.
    • Strong Leadership, Management and Interpersonal Skills.
    • Analytical ability and understanding of financial analysis.
    • An established track record of delivering world class events.
    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • High level travel required for major events and department assignments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Professional experience in network marketing or health & wellness industry.
    • Global event management and leadership development.
    • Event planning and management certifications, such as CMM, CMP, CSEP, CPCE or related.
