  • Position Summary

    The IT Project Manager supports Isagenix projects and initiatives by providing project management processes and methodologies for information technology projects. This role will be responsible for applying PM practices and standards to IT projects and will be responsible for coordinating the technical and non-technical aspects of projects in the IT group. This role will ensure the Project Plan (Roles/Responsibilities, Schedule, Communication Plan, Risk/Issue Plan, etc.) are complete and support the IT intake and execution process. The IT Project Manager will be - drive the project to successful completion, and work closely with Business Engagement Team.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

    • Drive large and medium, complex IT projects to successful completion.
    • Coordinate with BET to establish baseline scope, estimates, and resources.
    • Lead the Project Plan package through initiation, planning, execution and closure phases as the project moves from design, to build, to installation, go-live, training and ultimately into an operational state.
    • Plan, schedule, deploy, and support the closure of IT projects.
    • Perform tasks that follow set methodologies for project deliverables and documentation management; apply PMO standards and guidelines.
    • Coordinate and facilitate project and stakeholder communication, meetings and resources; capture key notes and action items.
    • Manage risks and mitigations to risks.
    • Identify any issues that require attention and resolve blockages in a timely manner; Elevate issues to the PMO and/or Steering Committee(s), as needed.
    • Produce and provide status reporting, as needed to IT and PMO.
    • Maintain project site, project artifacts, and keep project libraries up to date.
    • Maintain project information in PMO portfolio for reporting and metric purposes.

    Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
    • 5 years of experience in a formal project management role with client–facing projects, including planning, scheduling, and deploying using various project lifecycles methodologies.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to manage/lead groups of people and tasks simultaneously.
    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple projects across multiple teams supporting various drivers.
    • Excellent collaboration skills.
    • Occasional travel required for meetings or business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
    • Solid technical background, with understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software development and web technologies.Experience with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS).Understanding and experience dealing with complex and interconnected systems.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
    • A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies as a Project Manager managing projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.
    • PMP certification.
    • Excellent facilitation skills.
    • Excellent analysis skills.
